St. Paraskeva Academic Choir at the National Academy of Arts, Sofia, Bulgaria
St. Paraskeva Academic Choir is the successor of the St. Paraskeva Choral School, established and led by the famous Bulgarian conductor Petya Pavlovich (1939-2007). Since the spring of 2008 it has been under the patronage of the National Academy of Arts. The choir has participated in numerous concerts and festivals in Sofia and throughout Bulgaria. There were concert tours in Macedonia (2011), Greece (2013, 2018), Hungary (2013), Austria (2014) and Serbia (2018).
The repertoire of St. Paraskeva Academic Choir is rich and diverse, covering works from the oldest layers of world music to contemporary works; church, folk and pop music. It has participated in various concert and educational programmes.
