PRO ARS Chamber Choir
The PRO ARS chamber choir was created in 2011 by its conductor and artistic director Maestro Sasho Tatarchevski. Since its first concert, the ensemble demonstrates high professionalism and new artistic level on the choral scene. Each concert of the choir represents a different program with a variety of styles and complexity of the music works. Singers in the choir are young and well educated vocalists, prepared for all the challenges of the choral literature.

The choir is highly appreciated by all factors in the cultural life of Macedonia and receives many invitations for performances of different styles of music. Through its multilateral and dynamic skills, the choir has performed numerous premieres of new compositions, as well as works that have never been performed since their creation.
In collaboration with the Union of the Macedonian Composers, the choir organizes a workshop, during which young composers implement their musical ideas in live sessions with the choir, receiving feedback and suggestions from the conductor Sasho Tatarchevski and the singers. |
The PRO ARS chamber choir is the residental choir of the recording studio FAMES in Skopje and provides records for high-budget international film productions and educational television programs. The choir is also a permanent participant in all professional musical events in Macedonia, as for example the Ohrid Summer Festival and many others. Earlier this year the choir participated with great success in the 6th World Choir Festival on Musicals in Thessaloniki (Greece).
