Sasho Tatarchevski

Conductor of the PRO ARS Chamber Choir

 

Sasho Tatarchevski was born in Bitola, where he also started his musical education. He graduated with a Master's degree in choral, orchestral and opera conducting at the Faculty of Music in Skopje and attended master classes in conducting in New York, Rome, Berlin, St. Petersburg, Moscow and Sarteano.

 

Maestro Tatarchevski has worked with the Macedonian Philharmonic Orchestra, the Macedonian Opera, the Chamber Orchestra of Bitola, the Symphony Orchestra of ICE – Rome,  the ensembles for contemporary music ALEA and ConTempora and many others. Currently he works as a lecturer at the Faculty of Music as well as conductor of the Mixed Choir "Dragan Shuplevski", PRO ARS Chamber Choir and the Female Choir MKS in Skopje.

 

Maestro Tatarchevski has won many competition awards conducting different ensembles in Portugal, Slovenia, Great Britain, Belgium, Switzerland, Greece, Spain, Croatia, Serbia, Italy, Bulgaria, Austria, Czech Republic, Russia, France, Romania and Turkey. He is permanent member of the juries of several international choral competitions and from year 2014 also the artistic director, leading conductor and lecturer at the International Choir Forum in Struga, Macedonia.
