Vanilia Kisyova

 

 

 

 

Assoc. Prof. Vanilia Kisyova is the founder and conductor of the BEL CANTO Academic vocal ensemble. She graduated from the National Academy of Music "Prof. P. Vladigerov" with a major in Chorus Conducting and Opera Singing in the class of Prof. Stoyan Kralev and Prof. Elena Kiselova. The artistic path of Vanilia Kisyova is closely related to the concert activity (mostly abroad) of the Madrigal vocal ensemble, where she has been a soloist and a second conductor for 20 years, as well as to the conductor positon of the Rodna Pesen choir - Bourgas (1977-1984). As a soloist she was participating in choral orchestral works with the symphony orchestras of Plovdiv, Burgas, Pleven and Sofia conducted by Vasil Stefanov, Metodi Matakiev, Yordan Dafov, Georgi Notev, Emil Chakarov and others.

 

 

 

 

Since 1987 Vanilia Kisyova has been a lecturer in the Conducting Department of the National Academy of Music "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov" - Sofia. Since 2005 she has been a conductor and founder of the "St. Kliment Ohridski" mixed ecclesiastical choir to the temple of the same name.

 

 

 

 

Vanilia Kisyova has been concertizing as a soloist and conductor in Spain, France, Germany, Austria, Russia, Australia and is a laureate of numerous choral festivals and competitions.
