Dimitar Stoyanov

 

 

 

 

Dimitar Stoyanov graduated from the Theoretical-Conducting Faculty of the "Pancho Vladigerov" National Academy of Music in the Choral conducting class of Prof. Miroslav Popsavov.

 

 

 

He attended conducting master classes of numerous foreign and Bulgarian conductors.

 

 

 

From 2006 till 2011 he was an assistant conductor and then he took on the position of Chief conductor of the Orthodox choir to the Temple of the Holy Mother. Since 2014 he has been the conductor of the ELITSA folkloric choir. In 2014 (as a guest conductor) he won First Prize in the 3rd International Choral Festival “Music and the Sea” in Paralia Katerinis, Greece. In 2017 he won First Prize in the 14th International Choral Festival "Maestro Zachari Mednikarov".

 

 

 

He has conducted a number of other vocal ensembles such as AQUARELLE Chamber Ensemble to the "Svetoslav Obretenov" National Philharmonic Orchestra, SOFIA Soloist Ensemble, ANONYMOUS Ensemble.
