Galina Stanisheva
Galina Stanisheva, graduated from the National School of Arts "Dobri Hristov", Varna, with a master's degree at the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts in Plovdiv. She studied conducting under Assoc. Prof. Krikor Chetinyan. She specialized in classical singing in the class of prof. Valentina Alexandrova.
In 1993, she started working at the Center for Personal Development Support – Municipal Children’s complex, Varna. Since 2002, she has been a part of the team of Varna Children's and Youth Opera and Children's Choir "Dobri Hristov", where she works as a vocal teacher and solfege teacher.
Since 2014, she has been the conductor of the children's ensemble of the Dobri Hristov Children's Choir, and since 2016, she has been responsible for the concert group of the choir with which she has realized numerous individual concert programs. She organizes creative projects with choirs from the country and abroad.
Under her leadership the Dobri Hristov Children's Choir participated in numerous prestigious festivals and competitions and won a number of awards and prizes.
In 2013 receives the Municipal Children's Complex-Teacher of the Year award.
In 2015 she participated in a Master Class for choral conductors in Plovdiv.
For her high professionalism and contribution to the art of music, in 2018 she was awarded the Silver Lyre of the Union of Bulgarian Music and Dance Artists.
In 2022 she received a high prize - Varna Award in the nomination "Teacher of the Year".
